Explore the serpentine souks, where you'll find fine artisanal goods, rich carpets, pyramids of olives and rainbow-colored spices, sweet fruits and other delights. Or visit the much photographed, colorful honeycomb vats of the tanneries and climb the Merenid Tombs, which overlook a stunning panorama of Fes.

Day 3 - Meknes - Moulay Idriss - Volubulis - Fes
Lush rolling hills studded with the fertile plains of ancient olive groves and vineyards await you in the Ismalian capital of Meknes. Meknes is on UNESCO's world heritage list. After a pleasant lunch at the holy city of Moulay Idriss, you can explore the port of Bab El Mansour and Bab El Khamis. And then the tour is on to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubulis, sprawled amid a wildflower-dotted hillside, where the remains of palaces, baths, soaring arches and magnificent mosaics await exploration.
Dinner and lodging are at your charming Riad in the ancient city of Fes.
Day 4 - Middle Atlas - Fes
The Middle Atlas region reveals the hidden delights of a fragrant cedar forest filled with chatty Barbary apes, and the crystal air of the mountains that house rustic Berber villages. Admire the European charm of an Alpine-style village. Make a wish by a rushing waterfall, or stroll along a placid lake in one of the many pleasant parks. In Azrou, you'll discover fine wooden handicrafts and handmade Berber rugs at the weekly market.
