Camille Lorenzetti and Abdelfettah Seffar

Camille Lorenzetti and Abdelfettah Seffar are pleased to welcome you at Riad Alkantara.

Of Western origins but immersed in the Oriental culture from birth, Camille travelled much when she was a child. She developed a keen interest for unknown and faraway lands. She learned the art of theatre play and dancing and studied occupational therapy and art therapy. Camille also enjoys the arts of sculpture, painting and writing and has studied Yoga, relaxation massages and energy therapy.

Born in Persia, Abdelfettah has lived ten years in different Western countries where he studied architecture, literature and philosophy. Heir to a lineage of master plasterers, he sculpts stucco with graceful curves and metaphysical geometrical themes. He views himself as a tradesman dedicated to the Mind, working and renovating art, seeking to reveal the fragile beauty of silence turned into material beauty.

Both have fallen in love with Fez and are dedicated to celebrating its spirit and wish to contribute, with the Riad and the cultural and artistic events it hosts, to rekindle some of the citadel's past splendour.

Riad Alkantara aims to always conduct itself in a responsible and respectful manner.

The staff at the Riad is hired from the local community. Staff is well treated, supported in their development aspirations and paid fairly.

To limit the impact on the local environment, the Riad has installed simple measures to use low wattage light bulbs whenever possible. These changes have been carefully considered so as to not compromise the quality of your stay with them.

The Riad offers a variety of programs that support local artists by combining the creativity through arts and craft workshops.
