Mr. Ismaili Mohamed Raouf
This house was owned by the owner's grandfather. The riad is from the 17th century. Part of this wonderful building has been converted by the owner in a guesthouse called Riad Palais Didi. The renovation of this palace lets you enjoy the wonders of the architectural mauresque beauty. This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
This Riad Palais Didi endeavors to operate responsibly, showing respect to both its local environment and communities.
Keeping up with times demands that Riads do their bit to reduce excess water and electricity consumption!
To conserve these resources, Riad Palais Didi has invested in installing shower heads which significantly reduce water waste. Wherever possible, they have also replaced light bulbs with long life / low watt bulbs. This does not compromise the relaxing qualities of the hotel which remains a top priority for management.
To help the cause along, guests are invited to participate by simply switching the air conditioning, lights and appliances off when they leave the room for the day.
The staff at Riad Palais Didi has been sourced from local communities. The development of staff is encouraged. They are well treated and compensated fairly.
