Haj Allal
Haj Allal is a businessman who has been in the tourist industry since he was a child. He has provided over 300 jobs for the locals from all around the city of Fes.This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Riad Yacout Fes recognizes that the Riad staff and the services provided have a huge impact on how much guests enjoy their stay. As such, to ensure that their services and standards remain high, they endeavor to support their staff, encouraging growth and development. The staff is well treated and compensated for their time fairly.
To reduce impacts on the local environment, guests can also assist in conserving water by requesting that their towels and sheets are washed every second day. This has a dramatic impact on reducing water consumption for the Riad.
Low watt light bulbs have been installed in the hotel wherever possible. Guests are encouraged to switch lights and the air conditioning off whenever they leave their room for the day.
The adjustments that the hotel and the hotel staff have made to ensure its reduced impact has been done with the very best intentions. The relaxation and quality of stay that guests receive is still a firm’s priority and these updates should not compromise that.
