Aziz Benouna
Aziz Benouna is a passionate man about tourism, who has been in this business for the past 19 years and a lover of the city of Meknes.-Riad Yacout belonged to a rich family in Meknès since 1930. Mr. Aziz bought it and restored it in 2007/2008.
This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The Riad aims to operate in a manner way, which is both the environmentally and socially responsible.
They use only low-wattage light bulbs. Recognizing that a vital part of your stay with them is relaxation and having a high level of comfort and service, they encourage you to consider the environment in your stay with them.
They will normally change towels and linen every day. However, in order to explore further ways of reducing our environmental impact, as a client, you can be a big part of it by asking the front desk to change them every other day instead. Guests are also asked to please remember to turn the light and AC off in the summer when you are not in the room.
All workers are hired only from the local community. The Riad treats them fairly, supports their development and pays them a fair wage.
